Energy is the lifeblood of our economy, and I support an all-of-the-above approach. Whether it’s clean energy or traditional oil and gas, we need policies that promote innovation and reduce costs for Colorado families. I will fight for a free-market approach to energy, ensuring we maintain access to affordable, reliable power without heavy government interference.
Housing costs are out of control, and I’m committed to making changes. I will push for construction defect litigation reform to encourage developers to build more affordable homes and condominiums. Current laws make it too expensive for builders to take on these projects, and we need to address this so that more Coloradans can afford to own a home.
I believe that parents—not the government—know what’s best for their children. I fully support universal school choice and a Parental Bill of Rights, ensuring families have control over important decisions, from education to medical choices. Empowering parents is crucial to our children's future.
I believe that local control is a cornerstone of the American system of government. Our local governments understand the unique needs of our communities far better than distant lawmakers. I will fight to ensure that local voices are prioritized in decision-making, and communities are empowered to address their own challenges.
One-party rule from either side is dangerous and leads to hyper-partisanship. Right now, Democrats control the Governor’s office and have a supermajority in the House. I believe it’s time to bring balance back to our state government so that every voice in Colorado is represented fairly. Transparency and accountability will be my guiding principles.
Mental health is an issue we can no longer afford to ignore—especially in our rural communities. I am committed to increasing access to mental health services and resources, so that everyone in Colorado, no matter where they live, can get the help they need.
I know how crucial water is to our Western Colorado farmers and ranchers. I will fight to protect their water rights, ensuring they have the resources they need to continue their vital work. Conservation should be voluntary—not mandated by the government. I will support smart irrigation systems and water-saving technologies to ensure that our most valuable resource is used efficiently.
Stewardship is about balancing the need for resource use today with the responsibility to protect those resources for future generations. Policies should encourage private landowners, ranchers, and farmers to take the lead in conservation efforts, without over-regulation from the state.
Urban growth on the Front Range should not come at the expense of rural Colorado. I will ensure that water agreements like the Colorado River Cooperative Agreement continue to protect the interests of our Western Slope communities and keep water flowing to our farms and ranches
